Ten years ago, a group of Legendary Heroes took on the largest army that the World ever saw, The Black Cross Army. The threat befell the planet seemingly overnight, most humans running and fleeing to other cities that weren't being attacked. The Rangers were able to surpress the Black Cross Army, but at the ultimate price. Led by the Red Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger, the Rangers overcame the Black Cross Army, losing their lives in the attempt. Repressing them, the Black Cross Army turned and fled, the rest of their forces retreating to the Region of Noruna and taking refuge in the Island Volcano.
Now, the Black Cross Army, led by General Damien Cross, once more returns to take the region of Noruna as their own, and then destroying Earth for the reminder of their army. With no Power Rangers to stand in their way, they think that they're victory is almost certain....
What they don't know is that there are Power Rangers that are closing in on them. The Spirits of the Legendary Rangers have manifested in these new heroes, the ones calling themselves "Unleashed". The Five Rangers are sure to use the powers of the Ancient Rangers to save the Noruna Region from the Black Cross Army.Using the Power of the Past Rangers and their ship, Chronos, the Rangers have to face Black Cross in the fight that's going to decide if the world gets saved or if it falls.
