Omega Ranger wasn't even much of a character. He was a glorified weapon. If he was a ball of light but had an actual character he would have been fine. Thats where they failed. It was silly that he never met past Sam.

Omega was really an insult to the fandom. It reeked of someone not understanding PR and what it is. It was a product of a exec that didn't understand PR. At least Kalisj learned his lesson on that.

I myself personally did care that Omega Ranger was a Ball of Light because it shows us more when a human character is actually interacting with other human or humanoid characters.

Yes he's an underrated character but I think the lack of a human character for him is what actually hurts him the most.
