The letter was a fake. Kimberly would never break up with Tommy and especially not like that. Kat wrote the letter to break them up so she could have Tommy all to herself. She made sure Heather would dump him. She knew if she gave her a dinner date Tommy would likely get called away on Ranger Business. And that would have been the final straw for Heather. She just had to wait for Tommy to make the first move so he didn't catch on to her evil scheme's. Even though I dislike the character for breaking up my dream couple, I have to admit she was a pretty crafty schemer. With the way she fooled the Rangers under "Rita's Spell"...And then fooled them into trusting her again.

I remember someone wrote a bad fan fic with that scenario. Kat had no motivation except she was just bad because. Also she was randomly Zedd's daughter. Which clearly wasn't the case when the show started. If you want to write an evil Kat Fan Fic fine. But at least give her a legit reason to be bad.

KimandTommy does a better job making Kat out to he evil then the fic. And her ideas are clearly not true in the main PRU.

I think topic drift is pretty cool and makes for better threads actually. Its not like people can't bring the discussion back to the main topic if they want. So much fresh ideas come out of topic drift. Sometimes they save boring threads as well. This thread was off to a good start though. Whether I agreeed with people's picks. They all made good arguments.

I don't think KimandTommy's theories really have any basis based on the events of the series. But if she wants to keep claiming Kat was evil, she is more then welcome to do it. Even if I completely disagree myself. Just like others are free to disagree with her as well.

I felt Overdrive was a big let down. The first episode promised a huge adventure for the jewels and lots of adventure. It seemed like they just randomly found the jewels when it was convenient. And everything just ended way too abruptly. Of course having a one part finale didn't help. Did anyone else felt the Mack is a real boy now part was tacked on? Flurious wasn't even a real threat. He was a monster of the week with all the power of the supposed all powerful crown.

Mystic Force for me. There first episode showed a lot of promise and there were so many twists and turns. But the finale just felt too rushed and was too busy being a C2D hack. A bad one at that. The fact the Rangers one with a carebear stare was as bad as the end of Digimon Adventure 02.

The fact Nick gets to save the day once again is also stupid. Especially after he was a total dick in in the battle with the Master. And this was after he was freed from his evil control.
