Sounds lretty far fetched to me. PR is never going to be that dark. Doing a Tommy solo semd off to Logan just isn't goimg to happen.

I remember Johnny Young Bosch saying something similar a long time ago like if they bring back his character he wants to get killed off.

On the one hand I can see how that could work for a Mighty Morphin the next generation storyline if that ever happens but I doubt anything on the level of Logan.

Everyone is just trying to glum on Logan's success. The X Man film franchise was already a much darker franchise than PR ever was.

I don't see how this would work? Its also difficult to see them even doing a movie with Tommy when the MMPR reboot probably isn't even getting a sequel.

This isn't happening. JDF would be lucky to get any type of solo Tommy movie. And if its a fan film you risk a Star Trek Axanar controversy.

Tommy is the wrong character to do something like this with. Eric would be the best character for such a dark storyline. As long as you made it sure you ditches Wes.

I think it would be awesome! Logan was a great movie I and it would be great if Tommy got the same treatment. I hope Saban Brands or Lionsgate has the courage to do this.

This seems like a very weird idea. I would not want to see this. JDF can make a non Power Rangers movie and play a different charscter if he wants to do a movie like that.

The MMPR Movie was bad enough. This would be awful. Power Rangers should never go R rated or this dark. We don't need more Power/Rangers crap. Much less dlne in association with Saban Brands.

Yeah this does feel like an idea for another franchise. I don't think Saban Brands will let Oliver or anyone else do a movie like that. Maybe JDF can be in the next movie to mentor the new kids?

Good idea! Do a movie with JDF as Tommy as he recruits a new group of MMPR like Rangers. Its a great way to reboot the movie franchise to be true to MMPR...Without losing much in the process.

I would like to see something like this with David Yost as Billy. You already could say he was dying on Earth without Aquitar. The writer would just have to come up with a reason why he wouldn't or couldn't go back there.

It could happen. Saban Brands just needs to bring in the right people. Maybe the director of Power/Rangers would be a good choice to hire for real. He is a real director and not some fan who did a fan film.

They could have him be a decade older Tommy. Which is similar to the Logan storyline. JDF is older than Tommy anyway.
