I know it sadly can't happen now due to the untimely death of Pua Magasiva. But how would you have done a Forever Red 2?

Venjix comes back for revenge. Tommy recruits the Rangers from the Disney and New Saban Era's to fight them. Tommy sits out this time and acts as Mentor. Jason does so up in the end to help at the last minute.

I would like to see Team Jason versus Team Tommy. The fight would be over Hexagon.

That would be cool.

I'm trying to think what the plot could be though.

Maybe something where some intergalactic/interdimensional conqueror or cosmic abomination based on some unused Gokaiger villain wants to conquer, and destroy the universe so all the Red Rangers join forces to stop him.

And there could be all these unused Sentai monsters to represent the previous seasons.

I think that Forever Red 2 should be a mini-series.

The plot: Some years after the events in Best Morphers, it is revealed that the Lord Draven that the Ninja Steel & the Veteran Rangers defeated back in DiD was also a clone, which was the reason why were the Rangers able to defeat him by just shooting at him and Tommy sending his own arrow back at him using the Falconzord. It also turns out that the whole "using robotic ranger clones to conquer all dimensions" thing was just a part of a bigger plan. Draven locates the leftovers of Evox's base and uses his magic to revive some of the villains that some of the past Ranger teams had already defeated. He revives Scorpina, Gasket, Diabolico, Mesogog, Grumm, the Master, Master Xandred, Vrak, Vekar and RoboBlaze and RoboRoxy. Because of the inclusion of the last two, Devon, the Red BM Ranger is once again put to the test. But this time, due to the complexity of the situation, he immediately knows that he's going to need some special help from the legendary Rangers and that just getting his friends to help (who have now moved on with their lives) won't do any good. He turns to the Morphing Grid for help once again, but this time, the Grid gives him a different clue on how to resolve this problem. Nontheless, a help signal is sent to other Ranger teams. Upon returning to the base, he he susprised to see Carter and Wes, who reveal to him that only the power and the teamwork of Ranger team leaders can save the world this time. The three then come up with a plan which end up in them calling Leo, while Devon goes on a mission to recruit 10 more strongest Ranger leaders troughout the Power Ranger legacy.

My ranger choices would be:

Tyler (Dino Charge Red) (or Troy as SM Red)
Devon (BM Red)

The mini series should be done in style of the most recent "Super Sentai Strognest Battle" mini series featuring as many Red Rangers as possible. Not every Red Ranger needs to be in the team-up since it would be just too much. 10-15 Red Rangers would be more than enough.

Tommy finds out that Serpenterra's remains crashed on Earth and Evox is trying to revive it. Tommy recruits Devin to join an all star team of Red Rangers. Their mission is to stop Evox and make sure Serpenterra is destroyed for good.

Just came up with another good plot for Forever Red 2 and it's even better in my opinion:

A veteran Ranger (not a Red Ranger (cameo appearance in person only)) comes home after a long night shift but finds out that his/her house where he/she has been living with his/her family is now occupied by strangers who say that they've been living in it for the past 20+ years. The next day, the same veteran Ranger witnesses Power Rangers from past teams dissappear one after another and then re-appearing without any memories of their lives as Rangers. However, the interdimesnional portal technology still seems to work and is used to notify both Scott and Tyler about the situation. As other Ranger dimensions appear unaffected, it's up to the two Reds to recruit AU versions of their Red Ranger friends from the 3 realities (main, RPM's and DC's) to form an elite team to stop what looks like someone's deliberately changing the timeline in order to get what they want - conquer the World before Zordon gets the chance to even choose the very first team of Power Rangers. A rushing clock against who appears to be an invisible enemy - of whose AU version ends up helping the two Reds!

So, what does everyone think? It's a lot more serious, but I think it would deliver everything about the franchise that we love.

I think Miki's idea works better as a team up for all Rangers or a multi colored team up of some sort.

Doing more with the multiverse fascinates me.

Maybe Thrax tries to use time travel and dimension jumping to eliminate the Ranger teams? I never bought that Thrax was totally destroyed in Once A Ranger. And he would certainly have motivation to mess with Zordon's contributions to the tinekines or multi-verse.

i didn't want to include a time travel sotryline because I'm sick of those from Stargate (although some of them are my favorites, but that's for another thread). Plus the whole time travel thing has been questionable in Power Rangers ever since the beginning in my opinion (with Time Force being an exception).

Maybe at the beginning (story-wise), but then, it can also work to get as many Reds to particiapte in the final battle as possible. The non-Red Rangers could be there just for story purposes, until the Red Rangers wouldn't be able to re-group for the big conclusion. Plus it could work well in expending the multiverse too.

I didn't think about it being the current season.

But in that case I'll go with my previous idea but instead of the villain being an unsused Gokaiger villain they're a Ryusoulger villain maybe the one from the movie.

But everything else like the use of unused Sentai monsters from each season is there.

I also want to incorporate the Red Rangers from Toqger, Zyuohger, Kyuranger, and Lupinranger vs Patoranger as well.

Time Travel is way overused plot in fiction right now. So good call on not wanting to use time travel.

To me Once A Ranger is basically the sequel to Forever Red. Its not a Red Ranger team up but its an anniversary team up. Legendary Battle is the second sequel.

A Dark Specter Zealot decides to resurrect Dark Specter to bring the UAE back to its prior glory. Tommy and Andros recruit a team of Red Rangers to stop the Zealot and his minions.

I would have rather had the first Forever Red be a three parter so it actually made sense.

I wish we got Forever (insert color) episodes for all the colors.

The Blue Rangers trying to stop Master Vile, The Black/Green Rangers trying to stop General Havoc, etc.
