What did everyone think about how Death Note ended? Did you like it? Hate it? What were the problems with the episode? What would you have changed?

I liked this series but haven't seen all the way through yet,
I have however seen the live- action version of this series ( both movies)
are these movies the same as the series if so then yes very surprise ending
