Why were the UAE so surprised to see a Red Ranger
 

When Andros is revealed spying on their meeting, everyone is shocked they are still Power Rangers. Divatox acted like she destroyed every Power Ranger ever. Despite the fact that we know many other Rangers and the probability of even more unknowns. The alliance should know this. Why are they show shocked that a lone Red still exists? He wasn't even affilated with the Rangers Divatox destroyed.

Divatox probably lied that she destroyed every Ranger. Thats why Specter was mad and sent Astronema after Andros instead of the one person who just had defeated the Turbos. She also falsely claimed to kill them. Although she may have really believed the Turbos were gone.

they probably weren't aware that there was another Ranger out there I mean Dark Specter isn't going to know all of Zordon's plans even though through his history with him he'd be well aware that he likes to be prepared for the expected and the unexpected.

There were already plenty of other documented Rangers. The UAE should not have believed that the Power Rangers were extinct because of Turbos' defeat. Dark Specter would definitely know. His forces invaded KO-35 so their is no way he didn't know about Andros and Zhane.

I think they were more surprised that a Ranger crashed their meeting. Only Divatox was arrogant enough to believe she actually destroyed all the Rangers.

They are lucky I wasn't a superfan back then. I wouldn't have let them off the hook and people could have lost their jobs.

Zordon had most of the Ranger teams fake their demise. Divatox just happened to unknowingly do it for them.

It was an oversight since the idea they were shocked to see a random Red Ranger made no sense.

Its more likely they thought he was TJ. Since they all reacted like he was one of the Rangers Divatox supposedly destroyed.

I agree. They thought he was one of the Turbos at first. I do think Specter and Astronema knew he was Andros...And were just surprised to see him crash their meetings.

It was an odd look. But the most logical explanations are that Divatox lied that she killed all the Rangers or they were surprised a Red Ranger would be bold enough to spy on them.

Divatox probably lied that she fought and destroyed all the Rangers. It wouldn't be above her to embelish.

I thought the same thing at the time. It was like they thought Divatox destroyed Every Ranger.
