At the end of SPD Jack quits and with promotions, we wind up with no Green Ranger. Who should have become SPD Green?

Wouldn't Boom be a good choice since he always wanted to be a Ranger?

It would take too much away from what made Boom special. He was a guy that couldn't be a Ranger but still made a big difference.

I don't usually like fan conjexture but what the heck...Its Jack. Once he got dumped by his girlfriend he came running back to SPD. And they made him start as Green to show his lazy ass that you can't just desert your team.

Jack didn't mean to abandon his team. He left his communicator at the beach. He also left the team on good terms and would have remained leader if he stayed.

Even if his girlfriend did dump him, I don't see Jack going back to SPD. He was happier as a civilian helping the poor.

Perhaps they just didn't have a Green Ranger anymore? They could have re-configured the zords to make it work. Besides, you still have Shadow Ranger anyway.
