Default Re: Turbo Filming Timeline?

Not exactly. Pre-production began during the middle of Zeo, and likely some
principal photography. Some scenes were defintely filmed towards the end of
Zeo, also. Hence the movie having Bulk & Skull as cops again. It was written
without much knowledge about where the show was going!

This is true and false. He was signed up to be in T:APRM in the pre-production
phase. Around that time, they decided to go with Jason for the new Gold Ranger,
due to his availability and other factors about their original choice to be
Gold Ranger (Brad Hawkins). You have to remember, as well. Austin & Amy did the
"Blast From The Power Past" appearances in June 96. These were shot just before
the filming of the Jason as Gold episodes (slates for those episodes from the
end credits are late June). It's quite unlikely they got Amy to do it without
it having something to do with her being in the movie, as promotion.

Notice on some of the jungle scene slate shots, the bulk of the movie was shot
in November 96. I'm pretty sure Steve Cardena's absence in "Good As Gold" has
something to do with the filming of T:APRM (he only does a voice in that
episode, which is quite odd). Though I can't figure out exactly what it means.
Maybe they were trying to phase him out early or something.

This was in the Power Playback special, sort of. "I really don't wanna talk
about it..."

Movies usually take weeks or months to film, obviously. Depending on when that
interview was shot, he'd be Gold Ranger or not. There's also the chance he was
merely going on what he was told would happen with the series. We can only
guess.

You know who we need to answer this questions? Paulie. He'd know, having been
in the film himself.
