The first cuts of the exhibition season were made on Tuesday.
The Indians sent Cody Anderson, Ryan Merritt and Tony Wolters down to the Akron camp while they also sent Shawn Armstrong, Charles Brewer and Giovanny Urshela down to Minor League camp but to the Columbus roster.
