Black that is a good question since the Serpentara of the stock footage was a G-d.

It's not unknown for zords to have more than one cockpit. Turbo Megazord does.

Don't forget Jason using the Red Dragon Thunderzord, using the Thunder Assault Team, to home in on Serpenterra via the 'head'. Flying near that, possibly to slow down Zedd, or board it to stop him and Goldar altogether, it helps to presume the cockpit is in the head.

In the movie, the cockpit is in the head (Red Lightning). In the series, it's in Mountain Blaster.

Re: Rita's planetoid = Cimmerian planet?
There are a few differences between the movie and the episodes though, despite the movie being canon. For example, when they morph in the series it's just an energy beam, but in the movie it's this cinematic epic flash.
But still, that could probably be explained with an awesome fanwank theory. The movie is canon though, so two cockpits... that's mighty strange. Wonder why? One for emergencies? Then why don't other Megazords have it? Maybe they do but we never saw them? |
