Why did Spector have Darkconda abduct Karone? Why was she so important?

The UAE probably regularly abducted the children of good to raise to be evil worriers. Karone just worked her way up to the top of the food chain as Astronema.

Darkconda just took her to sell her and got a good deal from Spector. Who had Ecliptor protect her and train her to become a powerful ally.

Zordon had his eye on Karone for her potential and Spector wanted to undermine his plans. So he had Darkconda abduct her so he could use her potental for his own plans.

If Spector really wanted Karone that bad, why did he not make sure Andros was captured too? I'm surprised Darkconda didn't grab him too since he was right there.

Spector wasn't interested in Andros. Ironically by having Andros' sister abducted he created a powerful enemy. One that ended up being his undoing.

Karone was still responsible for her crimes as Astronema and should have been put on trial. She was just as evil as Kat.

Actually she was more evil than Kat until she turned on Dark Spector. Since Kat was only evil because she was under an evil spell. Karone only had her mind messed with after she became Cyber Astronema. But post C2D Karone is diffinitly a good guy. There wasn't really an organized court system to prosecute her most likely.

I never got why Cyber Astronema wanted to overthrow Dark Spector. Wasn't she under Spector's control?

Just proves that she was really evil the whole time. She just used the cyber enhancements as an excuse to escape the good life she regretted trying to lead. And then only rejoined good once her evil army was defeated.
