Default Should they have gone with the Sentai Approach?

Power Rangers started out as a continuous story. Even if it wasn't pre-planned...We followed the same team through different villains and power changes ( with cast changed too). Since Galaxy we have followed different teams every year that are mostly in the same universe.

Should they have gone in this direction or kept it the same as MMPR-Space?

They should have continued on from MMPR until now. We should have in the 20 something season in MMPR by now.

I would say it has largely worked out. Some seasons are better then others. But its good that if a season is bad they have another chance the next year.

Yes, Super Sentai does it right and American Sentai should follow.

I just wish the originals stuck around longer. Especially Kim and Tommy.

In a perfect word I would say keep the same cast two or three seasons. But the current approach is fine.

They missed a great opportunity to do continuing casts in Ninja Storm.

Ninja Storm should have continued indefinitely. It is the definitive season. They should have just dropped the PR name and used Ninja Storm as the franchise name. Like Ninja Storm DinoThunder or something like that.

I could have seen the Ninja Storm cast continuing into DinoThunder with some tweaks.

Ninja Storm would have been a good cast to try this...But the problem is the Ninja School angle makes it hard..If they were just random teens that got Ninja Powers transferring to Dino Powers would have been easy.
