Re: What if Doug and Ann stayed
original bases is one thing (they were going to need to re-create original scenes of the Hurricanger base so either way they were going to need to spend some money on it) so they just opted for an original base. Same thing with Dino Thunder they were going to have to re-shoot scenes as well so it was better to just go for an original base but you can't really change the episode source footage.
Kapri and Marah are idiots in our version but they're a little more serious in Sentai not too serious but they're not really buffoons like Kapri and Marah are. Zurgane was basically the same only he's an alien being who isn't a puppet but in Sentai he's nothing more than a human suit for a little bug creature that's controlling him like a puppet. Motodrone was pretty similar in tone if I recall correctly but he had various forms. Shimazu was more serious compared to his Sentai counterpart who was basically the comic relief member. Vexacus was more traitorous compared to his counterpart. |

I wouldn't count Rita's Palace in that since while it was the same building Zedd's room was in a different area that was connected to her room. Master Vile's base had a few re-shots. Skull Cavern mostly just had re-shots due to Vypra's American actress and Ryan but some scenes were re-shot due to content or because of Diabolico's resurrection The Prison Ship was original but it was semi-close in design to the Sentai lair since Sentai shots were shown notably when Frax was the only one around The Nexus was not original but most scenes were original. |
